Playing or Learning with Technology?

I love technology, but at the same time hate the amount of time I waste playing with it.  As a teacher, that seems to be the complaint we have about our students. How can we make them use it and produce meaningful work without spending 3/4 of the time playing with tools that are not on target.  In the next few weeks, I will be exploring different tools and recording some of my experiences in and out of the classroom
